LEGAL AND JURILINGUISTIC TOOLS

LEGAL AND JURILINGUISTIC TOOLS

The RNFJ’s member jurilinguistic centres develop legal and terminological resources to support justice sector professionals working in both official languages.

These resources can be accessed on the centres’ own websites (Centre for legal French resources, Centre for legal transaltion and terminology and Centre for legal translation and documentation) and on the Canada-wide portal Jurisource.ca.

Jurisource.ca is a virtual library with a huge inventory of resource materials such as model legal instruments, glossaries, checklists, professional training tools, topic-specific reference material, terminology resources, statutes, case law, etc.

Jurisource.ca is intended for all practitioners in the justice sector, including jurists, judges, paralegals, court officers, court support staff, jurilinguists, police officers and law students.
